It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Recap

God did a lot in San Fransisco this week! God took us deeper into areas of his heart that we had not gone yet on tour, such as his heart for the homeless and his heart for the nations. The nations are in San Fransisco! I loved being able to talk to people from different cultures and background. At times, this created a language barrier during evangelism, but God is bigger than that!

While we were in San Fransisco, we were able to lead a church service, host worship nights, do evangelism, and worship at Meta headquarters. It was a wild week, but we saw God move in so many ways!

Things to Praise God for

13 – people wanted to receive Jesus’ gift of salvation and start relationship with Him!

4 – people who wanted to rededicated their lives to God and return to following him!

3 – people who were physically healed by God.

5 – people who received deliverance or freedom by the power of God!

189 – people who heard the full gospel shared!

Here are some stories of what God did this week:

1. Bode and Emma talked to a homeless man named Dustin. He had a near death experience while he was on drugs. He knew God was real because of this, but he did not have relationship with God. They got to share the gospel with him and he wanted it! He gave his life to the Lord. After this, he threw up and was delivered from bitterness and anger! He was filled with the peace of God. We now have a new brother in Christ!

2. During evangelism, Connor was walking with Keziah, & Keiko. They were so hungry, so were looking for a snack. They met a guy named Harley who was working at a seafood shop. They wanted to get some food, but Connor started talking to Harley instead. He was from Michigan and was raised in a Christian home, but he didn’t have a relationship with God. Connor shared the gospel with him. He said he wanted it! He gave his life to God and then blessed the three of them with free food! They did not even tell him they were hungry!

3. During our worship set at Meta headquarters, Andrew felt led to go out of prayer room and talk to three people. They were in their employee orientation scavenger hunt and had just stopped by the music room. After talking to them, two highschool interns came up to him and started a conversation. One was a Mormon priest who had recently noticed some contradictions between what the LDS church teaches and his personal relationship with God that’s taught in the Bible. Andrew was able to share with him from the Bible “how we are saved by grace through faith, not by works so that no man can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). He was really moved by the truth. He is seeking to leave LDS church and find the real Jesus!
