And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Recap
This week was our first tour stop after training week! The Lord brought us to Fort Collins which is a beautiful college town in northern Colorado. The Lord threw us right into the deep end during evangelism as we faced many blunt rejections and hardened hearts. Through this experience, God taught us to how to love people in a deeper way and receive his heart of compassion for people we meet. This led to many long and meaningful conversations rather than quick encounters with people.
The Christian community God lead us to while we were in this city was such a treasure! We were able to stay with two families, worship with them, share meals together, pray for one another and learn more about God’s heart and what it looks like to live in the fullness he created us for. The things we learned through these families this week will mark our hearts forever! We are so grateful for the community God invited us into this week 🙂
Things to Praise God for…
11 PEOPLE GAVE RECEIVED GOD’S GOFT OF SALVATION FOR THE FIRST TIME
3 PEOPLE REDEDICATED THEIR LIVES TO THE LORD
7 PEOPLE RECEIVED PHYSICAL HEALING
7 PEOPLE RECEIVED FREEDOM/DELIVERANCE
11 PEOPLE WERE BAPTIZED
320 GOSPEL SEEDS WERE PLANTED
Here are some of the testimonies about how God was moving in Fort Collins!
1. Joel and Bruce started talking to some guys after getting hit by a soccer ball. The Lord highlighted ankle pain. They started talking and found out the one guy didn’t have insurance so he had just been dealing with the pain. Both men were hungry for the Lord. Joel and Bruce preached the full gospel and they both received God in their hearts! Then Joel prayed and the Lord healed this man’s ankle and all the pain was gone!
2. Abby, Tori, and Connor talked to a 19 year old girl named Rachel. Abby heard from the Lord and asked if she has depression and anxiety. She started tearing up because she forgot she had it since she has been living with it for so long. Abby encouraged her that she was not meant to live in that bondage and started sharing about Jesus and the freedom that’s found in relationship with Him. Abby shared the gospel and asked her if she wants to give her life to Jesus and start a relationship with him. The girl received forgiveness from sins and accepted Gods gift of salvation. Then they prayed for freedom together and she felt lighter and peace in her heart! God is so faithful!
3. I was at a wedding while my team was driving to Ft. Collins. At the wedding, I noticed my friend kneeling on the ground. I asked her what was happening and she said her feet were burning up and she couldn’t walk on the or stand. I prayed and the Holy Spirit immediately healed her. There was still a small amount of pain at first, so we prayed again and all the pain was gone! My friend was able to dance and walk the rest of the night!
Prayer Requests
1. the Lord would lead us into deeper holiness, consecration, and unity as a team
2. the Lord would lead us to divine appointments with the people he wants to meet this week!
3. Humble and teachable hearts as we interact with other believers in the city! That we will be able to encourage them and spur them on in faith!
