“Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.”

Recap
God has completely rewritten our plans this week and it has been WILD. For context, this city is very spiritually dark. Colorado Springs is less than 35% Christian, but we are believing for God to do a new thing and the statistics will change to become 100% followers of Christ!
Within the first two days in Colorado Springs, all three of our leaders had heard separately from the Lord that he was asking our team to stay in Colorado Springs for two weeks instead of one. This new change was very exciting, however, right from the beginning the enemy was doing everything he could to sow division in our team.
Because of this, we spent the afternoon on Monday to pray over each other and war for unity. It was wild, though, because for every one attempt of the enemy to stir disunity, God planted five more moments of unity in our team! For example, there were so many moments when several people all heard the same word from the Lord without talking about it before hand!
This week, we had the opportunity to serve with Redemption Squad Ministries and spend some time evangelizing, however, a large majority of our time was spent in prayer and in the presence of the Lord. It was a very unique week, but we felt it was exactly what God was asking us to do.
And it was so WILD. So, this past week, it poured and thunder stormed and hailed EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail. So many of the locals told us this was not normal. It apparently never rains this much in Colorado Springs. The crazy thing is, on the first day here, one of our team members felt he heard a word from the Lord saying that God was raining down to prepare the soil because He wants to do a new thing in this city.
I also received a picture from the Lord during one of our prayer sets of our team equipped with shovels, digging a trench/a riverbed through the city. I felt like God was saying, “Prepare the pathway with your intercession, so that I can pour out springs of living water and it will turn into rivers of living water that will flood throughout the city.” I felt like God was saying that our prayers and the prayers of all those before us were paving the way for a move of God to pour out over this city. Let’s Go!
I believe this week was so critical to the breakthrough that is coming in this city as we were able to connect with Gods heart and walk in obedience to what he was asking us to do. Even though so many of our plans were changed, we were able to grow as a team, minister to God’s heart, and build meaningful relationships with the people in Colorado Springs.
I wish I had room for more testimonies, but for now stay tuned to hear what God is going to do in the upcoming week in Colorado! We are so expectant and excited to see how he moves. So much love for you all!
