Testimony Number One

Y’all, this week was Wild! God moved so powerfully. There were so many moments I could share with you, especially just from our Friday gathering alone! I’m just going to highlight two testimonies from the week!

This Testimony is from Peyton:

We were having our team worship and prayer time in the morning. I couldn’t get this image of the grocery store Family Fare checkout counter out of my mind. God showed me a picture of an African American woman working the third register from the right and felt like God wanted to simply communicate is love for her. Later that day we went out to do evangelism and we went over to Family Fare, sure enough as soon as we walked in, third register from the right there was a young African American woman working. I walked up to her and introduced myself. She said that she was a believer but had been struggling. I shared what God had showed me that morning and communicated how much God loved her. She was completely blown away, shut down her register and asked to pray together saying she had been asking God to show her His love and really needed it! Such a testimony of Gods faithfulness and pursuit of those He loves!

Testimony Number Two!!

On Friday night, we had been evangelizing in the streets of Grand Rapids for several hours and were getting ready for the Jesus Rally to start. A friend and I ran to grab waters from a nearby coffee shop. We were walking back to the gathering space and were about to pass a women on the street when I felt the Holy Spirit say, “Invite her to come.”

So I invited her. While I was inviting her, God highlighted to me that she had a ankle brace on and prompted me to pray for healing. I asked if I could pray for healing over her because God is a God of healing! She agreed and so my friend and I prayed. We finished praying and her friend ran over interrupting our conversation, so we walked away. Throughout the entire interaction she was on her phone and kind of disengaged. In all honesty, I did not expect her to come and didn’t know if she was fully healed.

The gathering started and she came! But not only did she come, she accepted the gift of salvation!! Another everyheart team member also prayed for her and her ankle was completely healed! I found out later that she walked into downtown with crutches and an ankle brace and left with no pain, no brace, no crutches and full Joy! Praise God for complete healing! He is so kind!

Things to Praise God for

• 25 Salvations (plus bunches more from our gathering Friday night!!)

• New Friendships and Team Unity

• Deeper Faith and God’s Presence

• Team Members Stepping into their callings and walking in boldness

SHOUTOUT: Lilli took a step deeper in her faith and decided to be baptized!

SHOUTOUT: Peyton for bringing a WORD and commissioning believers into BOLD faith at our Friday gathering!

Prayer Requests

1. Unity in our team: that we can continue to love and serve each other well.
2. Wisdom and Discernment: so we can know how to best serve and minister to the people we meet 
3. That we will each be able to give God 100% this summer
4. Divine Appointments: That God will lead us to the right people at the right time. 
5. Humility: willingness to be made low, so Christ can be lifted high 
6. Boldness: Courage to proclaim the gospel boldly and willingness to enter into hard conversations.
