Recap

This week we broke ground as we pioneered the first Everyheart tour to Phoenix. God met us this week in new ways and his grace was so clearly over our efforts. It felt we were turning a page to the next chapter of tour as we began walking in different things the Lord had for us. We saw the Lord save, heal and deliver people who were lost, broken and longing for a touch from God!

We were able to run with a local house church community and some other believers in the city. It was so joyful to hear their stories and see their passion for the Lord as they daily live as the hands and feet of Jesus to the people in their community. We were abundantly blessed by the believers in this city throughout the week. This week we did lots of evangelism, led worship nights at young adults and house church, and celebrated Fourth of July and Joel’s birthday with our friends!

Things to Praise God for…

42 – # of people who accepted Jesus to be Lord of their lives for the first time!

10 – # of people who rededicated their lives to Jesus and committed to following him again!

10 – # of people who received physical healing from God!

2 – # of people who received freedom from spiritual oppression!

314 – # of gospel seeds that were planted this week in Phoenix!!

Here are some Testimonies of what God did this week:

1. Julia saw a gentleman who was sitting by the palm tree path, he looked at the shirt she was wearing which said “Jesus Heals.” The man was very sad, so she started talking to him. He said he was in a lot of pain in his right foot and said it would go numb after a while. He also said he was very sad. He had lost his daughter to suicide one year ago. Julia asked if she could pray for healing over his foot, and talked about how Jesus is our healer. Then she asked if she could pray for peace. He said he didn’t have a relationship with Jesus and he didn’t believe it will work. Julia talked about it to him and how God wants his yes. She shared that Jesus wants to heal him and his broken heart. Julia told him he can receive salvation right now if he wanted, and then started speaking things she felt from God to say over him. He started crying and said yes!! So he received salvation!! Praise God! And then she prayed over his foot and over him for a covering of peace and protection. After we were done, Julia gave him the biggest hug. She told him he is so seen, heard, and loved. He said he never felt this happy in a long time and then he looked down at his foot and started BAWLING…. He said it DIDN’T hurt anymore PRAISE GOD!!

2. Keiko shared the gospel at a vintage roller rink event. She asked for the microphone from the DJ and then preached the gospel over the microphone. The whole roller rink heard it. Immediately after, this guy started skating right to her. He hugged her and said he really needed to hear that. He was a Jehovah witness, but wanted to give his life to God and accept the gift of salvation. He had never heard the true gospel. The Lord gave Keiko specific words to speak over his life and he was so encouraged!

3. Connor, Katie and I saw these two girls during evangelism at a outlet mall. We asked if we could pray for them. They said they had just been talking about God a few minutes beforehand and were so amazed we asked them that. One of the girls said God has been showing her signs that He has been pursuing her. We asked if she wanted to fully give her life to Christ and she said yes. We also prayed over her for healing soreness in her body and after prayer, she said she felt great!

4. Keiko and Shelomi were in Marshall’s during evangelism. A lady came up to them asking where they are from, so they ended up talking about God. This woman LOVES God, and they ended up praying for the pain in her hip, which was 8 out of 10. She did not feel anything yet, but a few minutes later she was running up and down the aisle in NO PAIN! As she praised Jesus with joy for her healing, other people in the store were getting so touched.
