This week was such a joy and refreshment for our team! Jonah joined us for a week and the Lord brought us into deeper conviction, unity, and joy! We were able to see God move in many ways and pushed outside of our comfort zone to operate deeper in love during evangelism. We met so many people who were hungry for God and ready to step into relationship with him! Our host family loved us like we were their own kids and blessed us abundantly! Keep reading to see a glimpse of what God did is going in Salt Lake City!

Things to Praise God for…

36 – # of people who accepted Jesus into their lives for salvation!

3 – # of people who rededicated their lives to Christ!

4 – # of people who received physical healing from God in their bodies!

11 – # of people who received deliverance/freedom from evil spirits and strongholds through the power of Jesus!

307 – # of people who heard the gospel!

Here are some specific testimonies of what God did this week!

1. Jonah and Mya met a young couple during evangelism. They asked if they could pray for them and if they had heard the gospel before. The couple had just been talking about how they were interested in Jesus earlier that week. Jonah and Mya asked if they wanted to make that decision right now and they said yes! They accepted Gods gift of salvation that day!!

2. Connor talked to a brother and sister that were walking by as we set up for our unity gathering. They started saying some weird things, so Connor asked them if they had a relationship with God. They said they didn’t need one. Then they asked Connor if he did and he said yes and shared the gospel with them. Connor was real about the gospel and the reality of being right with God. The brother really wanted God, but his sister wasn’t really ready. The brother accepted Christ! Connor got his contact info and immediately commissioned him to tell his brother and sister about the gospel and love of God he just experienced. Their other two siblings walked up and this boy was able to share what God has done for him!

3. The night before this we had been evangelizing and we had heard a word about someone in a green tank top. The next day, a different group and Keziah felt like they were supposed to go to Walmart. As they were about to go inside, a lady in a green tank top walked out. Keziah asked her if she could pray for her, told her she loved Jesus, etc. She said she was a former LDS member, but now believes it’s a cult. Keziah got to share the full gospel with her and she said she believed it all and made Jesus Lord of her life. When Kez asked what she could pray over, she said her back really hurt and she had had multiple procedures for it, yet it was still at an 8/10. Kez prayed and she said the pain went down to a 6. Kez was so encouraged by what the Lord was doing, and asked to pray again, she said yes. After the second time, the pain went down to a 1. We prayed one last time and her pain went down to a zero! Praise God!!

4. Jesse talked to a lady who was at the Everyheart gathering two years ago. She came as an addict and got saved at the gathering. Two years later, her family is now saved and living for Jesus! She has been set free completely and now leads a women’s recovery program for addicts to walk into freedom with Jesus!

5. We went on a Jesus adventure and God gave Keiko a vision of a girl kneeling in her room seeking who God is and a picture of a blue house. We started driving and followed God’s leading to a community pool. We ended up across the street from two blue houses. The one house had a sign saying “no soliciting” with a picture of missionaries on it. They went to the other blue house and got rejected immediately so they went back to the first house and keiko knocked on the door. Keiko asked if they had a daughter and they said yes and that she recently converted to Catholicism, but she was going through a rough time. Keiko was able to share the picture God have her and it so encourage them. She sat on the front porch with this man for 45 minutes, shared the gospel and talked with him about pursuing the Lord. The guy asked was so encouraged and asked Keiko what she wanted to communicate to his daughter and she said that God sees her and loves her! The guy committed to telling her this and was so open to Christ!
